TRAINING ON DEMAND

SCALES University begins where modern survival now resides: the tactical mission networks, drones, communications, cyber, and austere medicine.

Training is delivered through immersive, TAK-enabled to replicate real-world operational friction, not idealized classroom conditions. Our curriculum has the backbone of a living, adaptive training environment where drones, radios, sensors, and human decision-making converge into a single operational picture.

Instruction is led by elite first responder units and military organizations such as Special Operations Command.

Training emphasizes immediate feedback loops through visual, verbal, and scenario-driven instruction. Students are exposed to practical use cases rather than abstract theory, reinforcing learning through demonstration, repetition, and controlled stress. Instruction is adaptive, allowing for customized learning paths based on operational role, environment, and threat profile. Structured question-and-answer sessions and confidence-building exercises ensure that students do not merely understand TAK, but trust it under pressure.

A Survival-Centric, Systems-Based Education in Drones, Radios, and Small Unit Tactics

SCALES University does not teach technology in isolation. It teaches survival through systems mastery.

Where most institutions focus on certifications, platforms, or transient technical skills, SCALES University is architected around a singular premise: in contested, degraded, or denied environments, survival belongs to those who understand how systems interact under stress. Drones, radios, and small unit tactics are not electives; they are treated as interdependent instruments within a larger survival ecosystem.

This is not hobbyist instruction. This is professional formation.

Doctrine: From Operator to Systems Thinkers

SCALES University applies a doctoral-level instructional framework rooted in systems theory, operational design, and human factors research. Students are trained to think in terms of capabilities, constraints, and consequences, rather than products or procedures.

Every course is structured around four persistent questions:

  1. What problem does this system solve in a survival context?
  2. What fails first when conditions degrade?
  3. How does this system integrate with human decision-making under stress?
  4. How does adversarial pressure alter its effectiveness?

This methodology produces graduates who do not merely operate tools, but adapt, improvise, and persist when doctrine fails and conditions collapse.

Drone Instruction: Aerial Assets as Survival Multipliers

At SCALES University, drones are not taught as cameras in the sky. They are framed as remote sensory organs, expendable scouts, and decision-shaping instruments.

Instruction emphasizes:

  • Low-signature flight profiles in urban and austere terrain
  • Sensor prioritization for survival intelligence, not cinematic imagery
  • Rapid mission planning under time, battery, and information constraints
  • Loss-tolerant deployment models where aircraft are expected to be sacrificed
  • Drone use as a means to reduce human exposure, not enhance spectacle

Students are taught to treat drones as consumable assets in a survival economy, not prized equipment. The objective is not flight perfection, but human survivability through remote presence.

Radio and Communications: Survival in the Electromagnetic Domain

Communications instruction at SCALES University is unapologetically realistic. Radios are presented as both lifelines and liabilities.

The curriculum centers on:

  • Communications discipline under detection threat
  • Emissions control and signal minimization
  • Redundant, layered communication architectures
  • Voice, data, and silence as equally valid tactical tools
  • Operating when networks collapse, batteries die, and spectrum is hostile

Students learn that poor communications kill faster than equipment failure. As such, radio use is taught in direct conjunction with movement, concealment, and decision cycles.

Graduates understand that sometimes the most survivable transmission is none at all.

Small Unit Tactics: Human Systems Under Stress

SCALES University approaches small unit tactics through the lens of human survivability, not battlefield romanticism.

Training focuses on:

  • Micro-team coordination in denied environments
  • Cognitive load management under fatigue and fear
  • Decision-making with incomplete, contradictory, or deceptive information
  • Movement and positioning informed by sensor and signal realities
  • Tactical patience as a survival skill

Students are trained to recognize that technology amplifies human behavior, both good and bad. Therefore, discipline, restraint, and clarity of intent are treated as tactical skills equal to marksmanship or maneuver.

Survival as the Unifying Principle

Survival is not a module at SCALES University. It is the through-line of the entire institution.

Every lesson reinforces the same truth:
Technology does not save you. Understanding does.

Graduates leave with:

  • The ability to operate when doctrine is absent
  • The confidence to function when systems fail
  • The discipline to avoid unnecessary exposure
  • The mindset to outlast more technologically equipped adversaries

Market Position: Education for the Real World, Not the Ideal One

SCALES University occupies a distinct market position. It is not designed for casual enthusiasts, nor for checkbox-driven certification seekers. It exists for professionals, operators, and thinkers who understand that future environments will be unstable, surveilled, and unforgiving.

This is education for:

  • Urban operators
  • Remote professionals
  • First responders
  • Security and intelligence-adjacent personnel
  • Technologists who understand that failure is the norm, not the exception

Why attend SCALES University

SCALES University teaches drones, radios, and small unit tactics as survival instruments within a hostile system, not as isolated technical skills. Its graduates do not chase platforms. They master principles. They do not rely on certainty. They prepare for collapse.

Highlights:

  • Over 200 Students Enrolled in the first 6 Months since Summer 2025
  • 30 Different languages accessible if needed
  • 10 New Courses coming 2026

In a world defined by disruption, detection, and degradation, SCALES University produces one outcome above all others:

People who endure.
